Wall Niche Installation

Finally, our wall niche is in place.  It is not the original one that we chose, and it is not centered because of the bulkhead and a lovely outlet code requirement, but it looks nice.  I really like it!

The base still has to be placed.  So the niche is in place--but so is a very LARGE snakeskin:-(  We found another one in the work area of the basement.  I think we're going to have to call a snake expert to come out and trap the snakes humanely and relocate them.  We don't believe in killing any living thing.  But look how huge this thing is!  It wraps around the work bench!
